BIOGRAPHY ALEX O'RION
Alex has been making music for nearly a decade but has only found his passion for trance in the past few years. Although Alex appears to be the new kid on the block, he has already managed to leave his mark on the dance scene, pulling crowds to the dance floor across the globe. The upcoming Dutch dj and producer recently signed to the prestigious Black Hole label and has already received countless acts of support for his revolutionary releases. Top jocks none other than current number 1 world dj Armin van Buuren and Tïesto have given Alex’ their thumbs up. To put it briefly, Alex’ sound - that can best be described as a mix of trance, techno and electro - has got people across the globe hooked and longing for more. It’s needless to say that this talent is destined for more.

THE STORY SO FAR...
In 2007 the Dutchman joined forces with Terminal-4 Records. Alex’ very first release, “Pete’s New Friend”, immediately kicked things off: Royal Flush Records picked up on the tune and released the track internationally giving Alex the opportunity to expose his sound to a wider audience of dance enthusiasts and djs alike.

Shortly after, Alex released a genuine big room trance track called “Release the Beast”. The track was noticed by label mate Richard Durand among others and consequently played in Durand’s Essential Mix on BBC Radio and during endless numbers of international festivals, putting the track - and Alex - in the spotlight. The track soared in the charts opening more doors for this talented producer: in April of 2009 Alex was signed to Black Hole, a label that is home to legends such as Tiesto and Ferry Corsten. Under the Black Hole label Alex hit the jackpot with his tracks “Milford Sounds” and more recently “Fragile Goods”. Both tracks got tremendous reviews and subsequently were played on radio shows such as Tiesto’s Club Life, Sander van Doorn’s Identity Show and Judge Jules Weekend Warm Up.

Within two months of signing up to Black Hole, Alex’ produced “Like a Box of Fluffy Ducks” and handed it to Durand, who immediately fell in love with it and crashed it at gigs across the globe. From Australia to Poland, the crowd’s feedback was immense: the countless email requests were so overwhelming that Black Hole released the track just a mere few weeks after ”Fragile Goods”. The track once again received massive support, least of all because of its tongue twisting name! Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Sander van Doorn, Judge Jules, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Richard Durand, Above and Beyond pleased crowds everywhere by playing Alex’ track with its striking cool cut-baseline.

WHAT'S IN STORE?
Aside from working on numerous new tracks for his first album that is set to be released next year, Alex is also busy making remixes and reworks. In his little spare time, Alex also makes a monthly dj guest mix for Proggy Globe, an international radio show hosted by Polish dj Cristian Ketelaars.
